Texas Monthly Live...

...is a new venture signifying the National Magazine of Texas' foray into live performance. This live issue of the magazine began its inaugural season in 2018 with a performance at the historic Paramount Theater in Austin, Tx. NGP handled all technical aspects of the show including lighting, audio, and video, as well as staffing the crew for the performance itself. In 2019, Texas Monthly expanded the series and took it on a tour of the state. Still beginning with a performance at The Paramount, the show then traveled to Houston, Brownsville, Dallas, and San Antonio. Other changes in 2019 included our very own Natalie George stepping in as director of the show. In this role, Natalie curated the stories, oversaw the entire look of the show, and coached the writers in finding the voice of their stories.
